I grew up on a beef and sheep farm near the top of New Zealand in a close-knit family with my Mum, Dad and 3 sisters. This environment gave me a grounded upbringing spending plenty of time outside either helping my Dad tinker with farm equipment, making up games with my sisters, playing Rugby or Surfing at the nearby beach. I have a Bachelor of Science Majoring in Microbiology and have been fortunate enough to gain significant experience in the food safety and regulatory environment. Throughout my career I have worked in several global food manufacturing organisations and have experience across many international markets.
My wife and I have three primary school aged children, all keen on an outdoors based lifestyle. They were one of the main considerations behind the decision why our family relocated to the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Australia so we can experience all things this part of the world has to offer. One of the opportunities that has come about is working for Freeze Dry Industries, where I am able to support the business grow and improve in a manner that ensures food safety and compliance is at the forefront of decisions being made.
I am a positive and enthusiastic person with a keen eye for detail, with a happy disposition and a drive to succeed. I look forward to using these attributes to assist with delivering the best quality product to you.
